The White Rabbit Film Festival is an opportunity for students to showcase their creativity and projects in an artistic space fostered by other students, with the selected films screening through an in-person viewing in NYC as well as on an online streaming platform. The festival is focused on uplifting student work and creating an area for students to connect with one another. In an industry plagued by a lack of access, the White Rabbit Film Festival aims to provide student filmmakers with an accessible space to showcase and celebrate their work in addition to meeting and networking with other students.

Launching in January 2022, the White Rabbit Festival opened for its inaugural season, receiving over 300 film submissions from over 40 countries worldwide. On May 14th of the same year, the first In-Person Edition of the festival was held at The Vino Theater, screening eleven student films from all across the globe, the work spanning from dramatic narratives, experimental films, and animation. Then in July, the Online Edition ran, screening work from 39 students virtually, providing a carefully curated screening showcasing a broad range of genres and styles.

The White Rabbit Film Festival was founded by first-generation filmmakers and artists

Steph Prizhitomsky and Daniel Oliver Lee.
